Visionaries Never Go Out of Style
A big thank you to all those visionaries who gave us electricity, the phone, the t.v., the car, computers!  Furthermore, visionaries fuel our economy. Visionaries are dreamers.  And, they provide us with new ideas, new technology, new gadgets to enhance our lives…visionaries never go out of style.

I’m so used to walking in a room and turning on the light(s).  I’m so used to picking up my cell phone to make a call.  We often don’t remember the people behind the new products or services we utilize in our daily lives.

Then, let’s not forget the anniversary of 9/11.  My GrandAngel and I recently visited the 9/11 Memorial in New York.  We were mindful to realize the diligent planning that went into the Memorial honoring the victims, including those involved in the rescue operation, of the attacks and destruction of the World Trade Center.  Most of all, because of the creative minds who carefully, I’m certain, designed an everlasting gift in memory of over 3,000 souls, the public will have the opportunity to pay respect to the human spirit.

“The John F. Kennedy Presidential Library In Boston, Mass. announced in June 2017 a year-long celebration to honor the 100th anniversary of the birth of President John F. Kennedy.  The picture represents his vision of a world that embraces people who are different than ourselves.  Other principles highlighted throughout the year are:
  • Having a Vision for Peace that would be timeless
  • Envisioning a World where Race doesn’t define a person’s potential for achievement and accomplishment
  • Seeing endless opportunities for innovation & technology to improve our world
  • Seeing a World where Science and Nature could be in balance; not working against each other.”
Has there been any progress so far in the above?  I’m interested to hear your thoughts.
