Do you remember your first job?  My first job was selling candy in a Los Angeles department store during a high school Christmas break (yes, Christmas break was what it was called back in the day).  At the time, I wasn’t specifically thinking that this job was a first step in what would be future jobs.

Anyone’s first job is the first step that may lead to a career choice.  We discover our strengths and passions by navigating through our job experiences and, if we choose, through a college experience.

Each step we take leads us to another step to achieve a goal.  Think about this: you rent ice skates at an ice rink, you put the skates on your feet, you tie the laces, then step out onto the ice and maybe you’ll need some lessons to then learn how to stay steady and upright to feel the freedom of gliding across the ice.

Isn’t this a great metaphor for any process or project we begin…one step at a time, leads to the next in life.  Who can you plan to visit and inspire their future steps?  Need ideas, please fill out my Exploration Form and let’s get started https://seejaneexplore.com/
