DanceDance, even if you have nowhere to do it but your living room.”  ~Kurt Vonnegut

If you don’t already know this about me, I love to tap dance (and, yes, I dance in my living room!).  I started lessons as an adult because I was involved in community theatre, and I wanted to learn how to “move” better on stage.  So, years later, I still go to my class once a week.

If you’ve not danced in a while, then come out to the Segerstrom Center for the Arts, 600 Town Center Drive, Costa Mesa, Ca on Saturday (I couldn’t resist sharing this with you even though it’s on a Saturday!), March 22, 2014 from 12 – 4 p.m. for a free celebration of dance with the Alvin Alley American Dance Theatre

You can participate in the performances, or you can choose to observe.  There will also be choir performances, visual arts demonstrations and other artful activities.  Here are complete details.

Food trucks will be available during the event.

I trust that you’ve enjoyed reading about the unique events and activities that I’ve discovered in Los Angeles, Orange and San Diego Counties.  With many more explorations added to my schedule, I’ve found it necessary to discontinue my “Fascinating Friday” blog posts.  I originally created the “Fascinating Friday” blog posts to give you a sampling of what is in one of my year-round Passports.  I will continue to offer the monthly sample events here.

Unique events are always included in my Passports.  To learn more, please go to Explore Passports.
